Hello Again!!

I was doing a lot of thinking today and wanted to ask fellow writers and artists a question. What inspires you and how do you come up with the idea of what a character is going to be? I hope I get some answers.

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. My awesome son Warren and his wife Jen made my birthday yesterday very special. We had a wonderful day!!! I’d like to thank everyone for all of the birthday wishes, they all meant a lot to me. It’s days like this when you know who really cares about you.

Well, it’s back to work on the second Cabbage Town. I’m still hoping you’ll check the first one out and send me some feedback.

Hi Everyone,

The second chapter of the new Cabbage Town book is going great and slowly getting very dramatic. I’m at a point now when I can hardly wait to sit at my computer and start writing about what’s going to happen next, and I hope you will feel that way when and if you decide to read the first one.

The inspiration for this book came from a family I knew when I was a kid. I was always amazed at how close they were and I loved their Irish accents. In this book though, the main character Beth, pushes the limits of her connection with her family.

They really didn’t live on Winchester Street, but I saw a house on that street that I fell in love with and I could imagine them living there.

Have a great weekend!

Hello Everyone,

Well, it’s another warm than cold rainy day in Southern Ontario. What a strange summer! The good news is that I found a new apartment and will be moving on September 1st. Yay!!!!! I can hardly wait. The new Cabbage Town book is coming along very well. This time the story of the family that it revolves around is fairly normal, with a few exceptions of course. In the second chapter the main character, Beth, is coping with being assaulted by the quarterback on the high school football team. I still hope you read the first Cabbage Town book on Amazon, because it will give you a feel for the atmosphere of this part of the city and also give you a better understanding of what its residents had to deal with on a daily basis.

Have a great day!!!
